I write quite a bit about our Soldiers and their efforts.
Courage, sacrifice and honor are words I use often. Now I’m going to throw in
another word, (cheated). I should tell you that the selection of this word was
a challenge as I wanted to use more “colorful language” but took into
consideration my efforts at blog decorum.

If it could be argued that any one citizen should be first
in line at the voting booth it certainly should be those who wear the uniform
of the United States Military. Sadly and despite the 2009 Military and Overseas
Voters Empowerment Act (MOVE), these brave Patriots, many of whom have given
limbs so that we may stand and control our own destiny are often cheated out of
their vote while serving overseas. This is inexcusable and shameful by any
measure, and any agency and / or party to this injustice should be jailed
immediately.

Message to Eric Holder: While it is refreshing to see your
department engaging non compliance in places like New York, a greater effort
must be made nationwide in all states to ensure that every last Soldier serving
has an opportunity to play a role in the betterment of “their” Government in
this great Republic.

Money from foreign donors? Is the
President kidding or can he be foolish enough to throw this in the mix at this
point in the Congressional midterm election campaign? In addition to the fact
that Democrats failed to provide one iota of evidence to support their claims
of foreign support for GOP Candidates this past weekend, we still don’t even
have an explanation for the millions of “invisible” dollars that flowed into
the Obama election machine in 2008. I mean these folks were using pre-paid
debit cards to hide their felonious intentions, not to mention the financial
“Tomahawks’  lobbed at any and all Obama
opponents by George Soros and his band of merry Socialists during that contest.

Just weeks away from what is shaping up to be an historical
election like none in recent memory, the POTUS would do well to look in the
mirror, and consider the “crystal house” he lives in when talking about
campaign funding…

Ok, the fact that any Californian
is so dense as to even consider voting for Jerry Brown for “dog catcher’ never
mind Governor (again), speaks to my concerns deep down about this November.
There are clearly those imbeciles out there who are willing to sacrifice all
semblance of political / societal intelligence in the hope that something good
will come from it “after the election” (2008). My personal belief is
that it remains an anti-Conservative vote in the Golden State as well as other
stubborn and long suffering states like my little Rhode Island. Sadly, we never
seem to learn our lessons. Now I can just hear the Libs screaming— “The
Governator” was a Republican… Think about that for a minute, and I rest my
case…

Young Cainan Gostnell can’t wear
his cross any longer at a Colorado Springs middle school. It seems awfully
convenient that because “law enforcement” agencies in places like Chicago and
Los Angeles are now stating that gangs are using rosaries and crosses as gang
symbols, more and more schools are quickly jumping on the wearing of these
religious symbols. I have a better idea. Stop pandering and acquiescing to
these thugs, arrest them throw them in jail with no key and limit their evil
influence on society.

Now there is much commentary that can and will be written on
the modern street gang and what contributes to their destructive ways, like
drug abuse and the Southern border. But for my purposes today, I will speak
only to the issue I have with today’s public (Socialist) schools. That is to
say that instead of encouraging and /or at least allowing young people to have
faith in something other than video games and President Obama, they are ready
at the trigger, for lack of a better term, to ban and demonize anything even
remotely related to Christianity. Tell me I’m wrong.

Message to Cainan and his family: Do not be discouraged.
Keep the faith and pray that times are changing along with many minds this

Recovery?

Ok, let’s get real Mr. President. This is without a doubt
the most anemic “recovery” in American history.

Truth is it’s really not a recovery at all. It’s a spend
thrift Socialist in the WH squandering billions of your tax dollars in a
charismatic attempt to justify the failed ideology of big government solutions
in a free market economy. The unemployment rate remains at 9.6 % with a
(adjusted for part time workers figure) of 10.1 %, and an even more horrific
adjustment to over 14 – 16 % when folks no longer seeking employment and the
“underemployed” are figured in.

So when the Obamabots try and give “credit” to the POTUS for
the fact that the unemployment number remains unchanged, please try not to

I know that many of you may have
seen this, but I had not until today. It was sent to me by a co-worker and I
hope that its author, USAF Lt. Colonel Rosensteel does not mind me using it. To
my frequent flyer critics, WAKE UP !

Luke AFB is west of Phoenix and is rapidly being surrounded
by civilians that complains about the noise from the base and its planes,
forgetting that it was there long before they were..  A certain lieutenant colonel at Luke AFB
deserves a big pat on the back. Apparently, an individual who lives somewhere
near Luke AFB wrote the local paper complaining about a group of F-16s that
disturbed his/her day at the mall.

When that individual read the response from a Luke AFB
officer, it must Have stung quite a bit.

The complaint:

‘Question of the day for Luke Air Force Base:

Whom do we thank for the morning air show? Last Wednesday,
at precisely 9:11 A.M, a tight formation of four F-16 jets made a low pass over
Arrowhead Mall, continuing west over Bell Road at approximately 500 feet.
Imagine our good fortune!  Do the Tom
Cruise-wannabes feel we need this wake-up call, or were they trying to impress
the cashiers at Mervyns early bird special?

Any response would be appreciated.

The response:

Regarding ‘A wake-up call from Luke’s jets’ On June 15, at
precisely 9:12 am . , a perfectly timed four- ship flyby of F-1 6s from the
63rd Fighter Squadron at Luke Air Force Base flew over the grave of Capt.
Jeremy Fresques. Capt Fresques was an Air Force officer who was previously
stationed at Luke Air Force Base and was killed in Iraq on May 30, Memorial
Day.

At 9 a. m. on June 15, his family and friends gathered at
Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City to mourn the loss of a husband, son and
friend. Based on the letter writer’s recount of the fly by, and because of the
jet noise, I’m sure you didn’t hear the 21-gun salute, the playing of taps, or
my words to the widow and parents of Capt. Fresques as I gave them their son’s
flag on behalf of the President of the United States and all those veterans and
servicemen and women who understand the sacrifices they have endured..

A four-ship fly by is a display of respect the Air Force
gives to those who give their lives in defense of freedom. We are professional
aviators and take our jobs seriously, and on June 15 what the letter writer
witnessed was four officers lining up to pay their ultimate respects.

The letter writer asks, ‘Whom do we thank for the morning
air show? The 56th Fighter Wing will make the call for you, and forward your
thanks to the widow and parents of Capt Fresques, and thank them for you, for
it was in their honor that my pilots flew the most honorable formation of their
lives.

Vietnam

I’m starting to think Vietnam.
But I guess I should have seen this coming all along. There is really only one
way this President is going to be able to keep his promises in Afghanistan, and
that is to eventually cut and run. Now we hear that talks are ongoing between
the Taliban and the Karzai Government. While this should not come as any
surprise as there are those of us who have said he has been a Sharia
sympathizer from the outset, the fact that the Obama Administration has been
quietly giving its “unofficial” blessing to the talks tells us that the July
deadline for withdrawal will be realized.

This is alarming on many levels not the least of which is
that if the United States or any other coalition government thinks that these
murdering monsters will adhere to any “stipulations” regarding a peace accord,
they are just plain stupid. They will simply pay it lip service until the last
troops leave and immediately return to the murder, rape, torture and stoning of
innocents under the guise of their twisted and sadistic philosophy.

In the name of Staff Sergeant Robert Miller and all the
fallen hero’s who have laid down their lives and limbs in the name of something
they new to be greater than themselves, I ask the President of the United
States to allow our Military to win the war in Afghanistan and give those
people there a shot at freedom.

If not, unlike most pundits, I would ask for an alternative
if he has the intestinal fortitude. Admit your politics forthright and
honestly, bring the troops home immediately and then debate the matter before
the American people and justify those politics. In the end Sir, it all boils
down to your ideology. Stop playing games with the lives of our Soldiers. They
have fought too hard and sacrificed too much to be marginalized and left to
wonder if it was all worth it.

Rhode Island

I opened my excise tax bill this
week and remembered vividly what we are fighting for this November. You see, I
live in one of the most backward states in the Union. Decades of a one party
Legislature, along with greed and graft on a monumental scale for such a small
piece of real-estate, have the beautiful State of Rhode Island in dire straits.
Out of control and unchecked entitlement spending combined with back room
politics and union thuggery have left my home state bloodied and down for the
count. I wish that I could blame the politicians alone, but that would be
dodging what I know to be reality. The voters of the state must share equal
blame.

For generations the “body politic” of Little Rhody has voted
for nepotism, singularity, handouts and plain old monetary influence. We are
indeed the “poster state” for what ails this great nation. Sadly, the blame game
seems to rule the day of recent, and achieving consensus on how to fix this
nightmare has been elusive at best. I dare say that if Rhode Island voters
could manage to get their collective heads out of the sand and vote for “real”
and substantive change, the rest of the nation might actually take notice and
truly sound the general alarm.

So as my wife and I stand drop jawed at the more than
doubling of our automobile taxes for last year, and wonder what our little one
might be paying some day, can we all agree that things are getting worse
instead of better? Despite how much folks want to believe to the contrary, and
eloquent fast talking politicians have re-defined the art of lying directly to
our faces, that kind of thought process only disguises and delays the
inevitable? We are going down by the bow people and there are not enough life
boats.

Bin Laden

It is difficult I know, to
reconcile our efforts in Pakistan of late. But logic and evidence tell us that
is where the enemy is. Because of that fact I find myself in the awkward
position of supporting the Administrations efforts to strike high level targets
over the border with Afghanistan if they flee or seek refuge in Pakistan. I
would add here however, I feel strongly that the same Administrations policy of
apology first simply emboldens our enemies and is getting American Soldiers
killed.

Ideally, it would be much easier to spread the tenets and
benefits of freedom without violence, but that is unacceptable to the criminal
murderers like Bin Laden and Ahmadinejad, as they have made their bones on the
backs of an uneducated, down trodden and easily manipulated youth population.
You notice I said criminal murderers and not religious fanatics. This is
because I am convinced that these individuals are nothing more than power
hungry ego maniacal maniacs with a bloodlust, who use religion as a vehicle to
inflict their horrible vision on the world. Their true intentions are masked by
those who support them and who also seek this power over people.

All things considered, there will be no true peace in the
region so long as people in places like Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan are
content to sit on the sidelines and watch their brethren be blown up and
beheaded in the name of, or at the behest of thugs like these.

The POTUS has taken to assaulting
his own party as well as blaming everyone but himself for the lefts incredible
shrinking poll numbers. The Democrats continue their back sliding and seem
mortified at the Presidents notion that they should be running on their
legislative “accomplishments”. Would you want to run on health care and a 14
Trillion dollar debt?? Not me…

So what to do?? Back to the old play book I guess. Let’s
see, class warfare, race baiting and blaming your predecessor. Now I’m not so
naïve that I would suggest both sides of this argument have not engaged in a
few shenanigans around election time, but truth be told, the Dems wrote the
chapter on “dig up as much dirt, true or not, on your opponent” and drop that
bomb in October just before the election.

That said, I’m pretty sure we all have at least one or two
skeletons knocking around in our closets that a professional “hit squad” could
get a hold of and manipulate into some kind of travesty against God and man,
but have we not come to accept certain “imperfections” having lived through 8
years of # 42. I’d say so.

The choice we have this fall is a fundamental one and speaks
to our hearts and not our political leanings. Do we see in our candidate that
which we would have them espouse in office? Moreover, do we see in the current
occupant of that office, that which we would like to see continue as policy on
our behalf and that of our children? It is time for “real change” in this
country and we must not be coerced or manipulated by the politics of personal
destruction. The change I speak of will not end in November but rather should
continue unabated until we have re-established a true and God fearing
representative government that understands the Constitution as well as its obligations
to “We the People”.

It is hard to believe we are a
mere month away from what is likely to be an extraordinary mid-term election.
Congress is essentially in limbo just waiting to head out the door for the
election recess. It’s hard to gauge the American voter at this point except to
say that he/she is frustrated. Frustrated with the left, frustrated with the
right, and sure of only one thing, most politicians are generally full of you
know what.

I know that rings with pessimism, but there is hope. Hope in
the sense that “We the People” are paying attention and are focused on what
country we will leave to our children. Folks seem more concerned than they’ve
been in a very long time that America is in peril. There is a growing consensus
that government is part of the problem not the part of the solution, and the
current Administration is either blind to this reality, or supports it.

As we move into the last 30 days before election 2010, I ask
that all of you think long and hard about your choices. In some cases it will
certainly be the lesser of two evils, (my home state of RI). In other cases the
choices will be clearer and more inspiring. In any event, look at the
alternative, that being to stay on this obviously destructive and dangerous
course that will surely leave this great nation scarred and quite possibly
compromised well beyond an election cycle fix.

Knocking down GOP claims

GOP Assertion: You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity
by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

Response: President Clinton raised taxes on the wealthy in
1993 (which congressional Republicans opposed), and our economy subsequently
boomed and created 22 million new jobs while balancing our nation’s budget.
During those years, the wealthy were not “legislated out of prosperity.”

GOP assertion: What one person receives without working for,
another person must work for without receiving.

Response: The rich don’t “work for” the capital-gains
portion of their income (it’s even called “unearned income”) for which they
have been paying income taxes at the rate of only 15 percent, which is far less
than the income-tax rates for most middle-class Americans.

GOP assertion: The government cannot give to anybody anything
that the government does not first take from somebody else.

Response: Not true. It’s called “deficit spending.” A
healthy economy and/or reduced spending can erase deficits without increasing
taxes.

GOP assertion: When half of the people get the idea that
they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them,
and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because
somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the
end of any nation.

Response: Both premises for this conclusion are fictitious
conjectures.

GOP assertion: You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.

Response: When John D. Rockefeller’s Standard Oil Co. was
broken up into nearly 20 new oil companies, the “wealth” of those new oil
companies combined quickly grew well beyond the wealth of the former Standard
Oil Company (and created a lot more jobs).

Our nation’s wealthy tend to invest significant portions of
their excess wealth in Wall Street’s casino games, which does nothing to help
our nation’s real economy. In fact, this practice harms our nation’s real
economy by diverting trillions of investment dollars away from companies that
actually produce things (and create jobs).

The additional wealth that they received over the past 10
years from Bush’s tax cuts would have helped our economy far more if those tax
cuts had never been passed, as evidenced by the performance of our economy
under Bill Clinton compared with its performance under George W. Bush.

Those Republicans in Congress clearly don’t give a damn how
many American workers lose their jobs, as long it makes the Obama
administration look bad by slowing the economic recovery! They may succeed in
diverting attention away from what they’ve been doing by using arguments like
those above but I think we’ll find in November that a majority of Americans
aren’t so easily fooled.

Christopher

Hello? Is anyone home? Christopher is your quintessential
liberal apologist with a “slightly” warped position on a number of issues.

For starters, any economist worth his salt will tell that
the “paper tiger” boom of the Clinton error was mostly a result of his
Administrations borrowing from Peter to pay Paul, using “Government trust fund
money” to disguise debt and pay the bills, while simultaneously taking credit
for alleged “surpluses”. But we cannot say that because one might argue that
Bush 43 might have “inherited” that which he is accused of leaving for the
current POTUS.

Next- The notion that “the rich” don’t work for their
“capital gains” is just another class warfare line spewed to divide. Unearned
income, in the end, is the result of well>>>income. This is simple
economics. The gain came from some place, and if you think 15% of a billion
dollars is not a lot of money, then you pay it Chris.

Next – Chris is correct about cutting spending and a healthy
economy though, but those things must actually happen first Sir…

Next – Know you history Chris. Socialist entitlement economics
has failed everywhere it has been tried and continues to fail today, (France
and others, look at the numbers). Even worse, in some cases it can even be
argued that it has resulted in human misery and genocide. The only thing
fictitious Chris, is your interpretation of what is actually fictitious.

Next – John D. Rockefeller’s Standard Oil Co. was a trust
that was dissolved by law, not a hard working individual making $250,000.00 to
even 1 million dollars a year who must meet payroll, pay exorbitant health care
costs (more coming) and business regulation fees, as well as restrictive and
job killing small business taxes, thereby leaving him/her far less than that
mean old original figure to then pay all of his personal expenses and property
taxes.

And finally, like many of the (have and have not social
justice crowd), Christopher attempts to paint with a broad-brush. I am not
suggesting that the larger “corporations” be absolved of their
responsibilities, but it is important to distinguish who we are talking about.
Chris clearly glazes over this and attempts to draw a line in the sand with his
own “interpretation” of who is rich and who is not. The problem here is his
math is just a little more than fuzzy. You are certainly a bright fellow Chris,
but your ideology is exposed on this one.

Get my good side….

With the primaries now in our
rear view mirrors, I do have some observations with regard to the results.
Clearly, the “Tea Party / Palin effect” played a significant role in the
removal of a number of establishment candidates across the country. Conservative
America is awake and paying attention and it is a sight to see. Becks march on
the mall as well as hundreds of state and local demonstrations have changed the
face of American politics forever. Now when I say Conservative America, I mean
just that. American values have always been there, and most folks I talk too
are very surprised to find out just how “Conservative” they really are. It’s
more about “We the People” finally understanding that Progressive/Elitists in
Washington are hell bent on changing, or at the very least diminishing those
values that are the foundations of our lives.

You have shown that you are not afraid to say who you are.
You have stood tall when they have ridiculed your faith and tried to paint your
patriotism as radicalism. And you have forced Robert Gibbs to eat his words
more than once. Well done!! But this is just act one of a very long play.
Taking back and turning around our country will be a difficult and long
journey. The fire is now burning but it is up to you to keep it burning. The
Progressives did not come all this way to lose. They will try every dirty
political trick in the book and throw every slur in their twisted dictionary at
us, in order to scare folks away from the voting booth. Do not be swayed. You

Candidate Laughlin was simply expressing a very valid
concern regarding one of many troubling scenarios that result when we ignore
the reality of the Southern Border. Flash to the Journal: the majority of “We
the People” share his concerns. This is true mainly because most folks are
looking beyond this extremely fickle data coming out of these agencies and
beginning to realize that the “real numbers” are probably far worse than anyone
can imagine.

Now I would be happy to debate the PROJO elite over the
“real numbers” coming out of any state or federal entity, as they apply to any
state or federal issue over the last 100 or so years. Just give me about a week
to do the homework, and we could have one hell of a political philosophy
brewhaha. The fact is however, people are getting pretty fed up with the left
wing media telling them the house isn’t burning down when every alarm in the
building is sounding and there’s smoke pouring out of the roof…

Hello Projo—To paint the drug problem on our border with
Mexico as some sort of inconsequential numbers game, where we should only act
when the death toll reaches a certain level, and especially considering the
obviously poor job in the research department, is to besmirch the memory of the
many law enforcement and other lives lost on both sides, fighting what is most
certainly an ever growing crisis.

P.S.

When your research crew is ready to go to the border (and
beyond) and do the real hard work, let me know, I’ll meet them there.

Dirty politics

The Liberal Progressives are
reverting back to their old and dusty play book once again. They have their
claws firmly implanted into the Democratic Party machine and they will not let
go any time soon. Class warfare and the never ending saga of the “Haves” versus
the “Have-Not’s” will permeate the airwaves right up to November. They have
already begun the misleading and shallow attacks, laced with
mischaracterizations and outright lies, on folks like Speaker hopeful
Republican Rep. John Boehner. The plan is the same, paint the Republicans as
obstacles to education, and every entitlement program the left has ever touted
as a solution to what ails us as a nation. (The big old nasty Republicans don’t
want your kids to have breakfast at school. Those bastards want the teachers to
work for free. Can you believe the Republicans want to cancel Christmas??)
Well, they probably wouldn’t use that one because you’re not supposed to say
Christmas. Anyway, you get my point.

The facts tell a different story in 2010 though. Government
spending out of control and growing at an unprecedented rate, massive
entitlement health care laws set to ever grow our national debt and destroy the
best health care system in all the world, and an end run against the very
founding principles of “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” that have
made the United States of America the greatest nation on earth. If you would,
and from a purely economic standpoint, all Rep. Boehner and even some
likeminded politicians on the other side of the isle are saying, is that these
policies are not and have never been the answer. History shows us that the
entitlement fee ride, when aimed at a particular voting bloc, often trumps
personal responsibility and ambition, and eventually leads to, well,,,, France.

Let’s face it. A major tenet of our national founding is
that success results when free men and women may “pursue” their hopes and
dreams without unnecessary and intrusive government meddling to impede them.
This is not to say that the need for a central organization, (sanctioned and
periodically adjusted by the vote of “We the People”), was and is not necessary
to provide for the safety and security of such a country, but rather our
Declaration of Independence and Constitution were meant to be “instruction
manuals” if you will, for what I call the “best arrangement for mankind under
God” bar none. This election, unlike any in recent memory will be a test of the
principles laid out in those documents. We have come to that “crossroads” that
will define us as a nation moving into the second decade of the 21st Century.
History will record whether or not we pass on this critical legacy of freedom
to the next Generation. So please do not be lured into the gutters of political
ad campaigns and progressive incitement.

I feel a growing confidence based on what the poles are
showing, that the American Voting public is wise to this trickery like never
before and will proceed to the voting booth with the best interest of their
children in mind, regardless and in spite of any “distractions”.

9/11

I remember very clearly where I
was that bright and sunny September 11th morning. I was working with an
excavating company my partners and I had used often in our now defunct
sub-contracting business. These guys were good, but it often took a little
“physical translation” to get the point across regarding the plan for
the day. We were putting in street line drainage pipe to provide run off
drainage for the massive parking lot we had just finished and I was down in a
hole about 8 feet sloshing in the mud when I heard my partner Owen start
screaming for me to get up to a little security booth that was at the entrance
to the Leviton Manufacturing Company, our customer. When I climbed out of the
hole, I could see the look on Owen’s face and it was clearly one of confusion.
You see, Owen would always razz me about my boisterous political overtures and
opinions, but this day he was looking to me to clarify something he was seeing
but not believing. Owen frantically waved me over to the guard shack where as I
peered through the small open aluminum door at a tiny black and white portable
T.V. belonging to the old security guard, I could just make out what looked a
large jet careening through one of the World Trade Center Buildings. As I shuddered
in disbelief, the confused media voice crackling through the speaker confirmed
what I hoped I had not just witnessed. It was 9:03 in the morning and United
Flight 175, traveling at 545 MPH, had just flown directly into the 76th floor
of WTC South and disintegrated in a massive explosion, raining bodies and
flaming air plane parts onto the New York City streets below. America was under
attack and the world as we all knew it had changed forever.

I still live that moment as if it happened yesterday. I
don’t want to forget.>>> I don’t want to forget the face of that
little blond haired, blue eyed angel whose picture I saw on the news and who
had been traveling with her Mommy and Auntie to Disney World on Flight 175. I
don’t want to forget the countless human silhouettes I saw leap into the hands
of God from the upper floors of both towers. I don’t want to forget the
emergency responders who raced to the end of their lives without hesitating to
save others. I don’t want to forget the look of horror on the faces of New
Yorkers as they watched their skyline change in a thundering instant. I don’t
want to forget the first soldiers in the war on terror who died fighting the
terrorist in the skies over Shanksville PA. And I won’t forget these and the
other atrocities of that day in 2001 just because apologists like President
Obama and Michael Bloomberg say I should in the interest of world harmony.

To the families of those loved and lost on 9/11/01, you have
my solidarity, and my heart felt thoughts and prayers now and always. May God
bless you and may God please bless the United States of America…

Liberal/Progressive movement

The matter of fact way this
President addresses the real economic issues of the day continues to be
troubling at best. One gets the feeling that he is still a professor in college
and is angry that his students just don’t understand his reasoning. Professor
Obama: “listen up people, I’m trying to put this in Layman’s terms so you peons
can understand it and you’re not listening to me”.

I’m pretty sure that if there were ever a politician who
could clearly denote what the Liberal/Progressive ideology really looks and
sounds like, it’s this guy. Thankfully, it’s that presentation that has opened
the eyes of a weary and economically battered “We the People”. That
condescending and elitist arrogance that permeates everything this POTUS says,
and frankly everything he does. As simple as this may sound, we will never move
toward the thick of some of the arguments until the left in this Country comes
down off their high horses and debates the issues on equal terms. The “do
as I say because I know what’s good for you” approach has never, and will
never work.

I have been playing this drum for a while now and I’m sure
most of you are sick of hearing it, but you’ll thank me in November. You’ll
thank me because the cause we are united in will come to fruition, not through
some miracle of numbers, but rather through a ground swell of popular beliefs
and values long held close to the vest but now forced out through challenge and
strife.

Happy Birthday…

Published            PATRIOT64          Just for fun

Birthdays are a unique
celebration. To the little ones they are a time of great anticipation and
presents. To most of us adults they are increasingly a reminder of our
mortality. While I never want to be thought of in the light of the centrist,
there is some middle ground on this topic.

Age is undeniable and despite what some might think,
irreversible. It does bring with it certain attributes however. For example I
am living proof of the wisdom that can only come from age. This is evident
primarily when I look back at some of the irresponsible / bonehead things I’ve
done. Moreover, I interact with adolescents every day and it is almost
impossible not to recognize the naiveté and exasperated recklessness of youth.
So I suppose there can certainly be a bonus to advancing birthdays. We adults
can also enjoy more advanced birthday gifts like say, Sam Adams Boston Lager
for instance, or maybe a gift certificate for the cigar store. You notice that
I am forgoing the women’s department for fear I may insert my size 9.5’s
directly into the very large hole in my face. My point here is simply that
while birthdays can certainly reinforce the negatives of age, they can also be
a time to celebrate achievement and renewal of our yearly efforts. Let’s face
it; we are usually too inebriated to remember what we committed to on New
Year’s Eve.

Anyhow, I would like to send special birthday wishes to a
reader and friend. Happy birthday Melissa… You are proof everyday to all of us
that birthdays do not necessarily have the same effect on everyone.  God bless and enjoy it with your family.

To steal a line from our old friend,
Ted Kennedy: what is it about working men and women that they find so
offensive? When the POTUS dragged out that old cliché the other day, I almost
puked. The only problem Mr. President is that many are asking the same question
of you today.

Here’s another beauty. “These guys are running on “No,
We Can’t,” and proud of it. Really inspiring”, huh? Wrong again Sir. We
are running on “NO WE SHOULDN’T”!
There’s a big difference, and based on your progress to date, I would
throw in “NO WE SHOULDN’T  HAVE”!

And finally, and I love this little gem, “I’m going to keep
fighting, every single day, every single hour, and every single minute to turn
this economy around; to put our people back to work; to renew the American
Dream for your families and for future generation”. That is of course when I’m
not golfing, vacationing, shootin’ some hoops, cruisin’ the Vineyard  or hangin’ at Camp David. Hello middle
class… OMG, this guy is the biggest “Fabricator in Chief” to come along in a
while. It should also be noted that a good portion of the above comments were
left out of the official WH press release as someone must have realized they
could be exploited by folks like me. J

President Obama is a man up against it and he is swinging
wildly. The (Huffington Post) even called him “combative”, and their love
affair with this POTUS is legendary. It is certainly not any frustration over
the failure of his policies to “stimulate” anything, but rather the fact that
he and his agenda have been forced into the light, and “We the People” are
“done with it” in ever growing numbers…

http://www.politifact.com/rhode-island/statements/2010/sep/05/john-loughlin/loughlin-says-reagans-1981-tax-cuts-led-exponentia/

I was perusing the Journal Sunday when I came across the
“Projo Truth-O-Meter” section and a piece by Staff Writer C. Eugene Emery
Jr. I always find these so called independent evaluations of politicians and
their comments amusing. This is certainly not to suggest that our elected
officials should be considered overly truthful by any measure. That said, it is
often easy to see a writers bias if we look close enough.

Emery begins his piece with references to tax cuts by
Republican primary candidate John Laughlin who recently cited examples of JFK
and Reagan tax policies. Emery goes on to analyze the approaches to tax cuts
and gives accurate though vague instances of both reductions and hikes in
targeted tax applications over the decades. His sources are credible but he
cherry picks statistics and does not specify the many factors that had to have
been considered at the time of transition from Carter, and the lasting of
effects of the prior Presidents economic and other failures. I’m very sure
Emery has some space restrictions and he is correct in his observation that our
economy is complicated like no other on earth. Regrettably though, he does not
connect the dots when it comes to the 81 recession and the fact that “things”
did get better, and comparatively quicker than anything we are seeing today to
put it mildly. Emery also neglects to mention that Reagan had to work with a
hostile Congress and balance spending against a shattered military and boat
loads of Congressional liberal spending initiatives, hence the infamous Tip
O’Neil interactions.

Please don’t confuse my critique, and I do admit to
Conservative foundations when forming my opinions. But the truth is we have
some basic (facts) that while broad in their scope are undeniable. Firstly, the
Reagan years while not perfect, were a reaffirmation of the founding principles
as they relate to Capitalism, the free market and the historical triumph over
the socialist Trojan horse. Second, and I think more importantly, is that
unlike the Clintonian paper tiger of the 90’s and debt laden catastrophe we
face today, Reagan understood clearly that the road back would be paved with
the successes of an entrepreneurial and self sufficient “We the People” living
in a Republic under law free from overly oppressive and punitive taxation.

If we can take anything from Mr. Emery’s article, it should
be that indeed our economic policies are complicated in many ways. But the
answer lies only in the simplification of those policies, and removal of
government obstacles which only impede economic growth and do nothing to
stimulate it

This is good man raised right and
he will make a great Senator for Florida—

On the passing of his father, Marco Rubio issued the
following statement:

“My father knew hard work and struggle from very early in
his life. His mother died when he was only 9 years old. The day after his
mother was buried he went to work with his father and did not stop working
until he was 78 years old.

“He was by far the most unselfish person I have ever known,
always focused on others, and never on his own well being. He was especially
determined to provide his children opportunities he himself never had.

“My dad worked as a street vendor, security guard, apartment
building manager and crossing guard. But for most of his life he was a
bartender, and by all accounts a great one. But his greatest success came from
the two most important jobs he ever had: husband and father.

“He was very proud of my public service. And over the last
18 months he became an expert channel surfer, constantly searching for my next
television interview.

“I was blessed to be raised by a world class father. And I
thank God for allowing my father to live long and healthy enough to see that
the sacrifices he made for us were not in vain.”

Catch phrase…

What is disturbing beyond belief
is that The POTUS continues to use phrases like “stopped the bleeding” as
if any real recovery has taken place. Moreover, he spent nearly $800 billion,
with a capital B, to accomplish nothing but saddle our children with enough
dept to bankrupt the entire civilized world. Now if the powers that be in
Washington are calling what has happened in the time since this Administration
and Congress sprung their twisted approach to economics on a bamboozled “We the
People” a recovery, then this is either a simple case of blatant stupidity, or
there is something far more sinister going on. I tend to lean toward the
latter.

Let’s take off the rose colored sunglasses for just a minute
Mr. President. As recoveries go, this one does not even get in the books.
Unemployment remains high, our debt will eclipse the sun soon, and the private
sector is contemplating folding up shop and applying for jobs at the WH. Who
the hell are you kidding?

Now we are hearing about those dreaded tax cuts for the
“rich” that are expiring, and how President Obama will use this money
to prop up small business. Is he kidding or did he flunk basic economics 101?
They are one in the same Sir!!! So as an election cycle ploy, this bunch wants
to take money out of the personal pockets of small business owners and put it
back in their corporate pockets. Now there’s a sure fire way to stimulate them
to hire more workers ay?? Oh brother… I mean, you can’t make this stuff up,
unless of course your Bob Beckle.

I guess I should be thanking the President however, because
every time he speaks its like pouring another gallon of gas on the fire of

So the President is gonna focus
on the economy. NOOOOOOO! If he keeps focusing on the economy, there won’t be a
Country for us to save in November. What do think his “focus” will be? More
spending and “stimulus”. More economists are coming forward every day and
acknowledging what some of us have long understood. This President has an
ideology based agenda and he will move forward regardless of public opinion.

As we prepare to elect representation in the Fall we must
not lose site of the peril we are in as a Nation and the consequences to our
legacy should we fail them. Our National debt threatens everything we hold dear
and will be our undoing if we do not change course from this spending
nightmare. Trust in this Administration to make good on its campaign promises
is now beyond ridiculous and is more like dangerous, and “We the People” are
alert and oriented toward appropriate change.

Consequently, The POTUS will now shift into high gear and
throw every Chicago style political block he knows to try and divert your
attention from the very real problems we are facing. From Middle East peace
talks, to phony jobs bills and cost prohibitive stimulus, all efforts will now
be focused on saving the Obama “revolution”. Do not be swayed. Refuse to be
lied to. Be true to the belief that this Country, as founded, must endure, and
that you posses the God given power to take back what has been slowly but
surely taken from you. We are a mere 2 months away from writing a page in the
history books that will be read and studied in the same light as the
Presidential election of 1960, and the Republican revolution of 1994. Don’t

it’s pretty silly for this Administration to keep insulting the intelligence of
“We the People”, when all indications are that when this plan finally lands in
all its forms, and is combined with massive tax increases already on the way in
the short term, it is most certainly gonna destroy our health care system as we
know it, and tank the economy in ways we cannot even grasp at this point.

When the CBO sounds the alarm with regard to the bottom line
numbers, it’s time to pay attention. For as we know, the CBO numbers are always
“conservative” with regard to cost, and the “real” figures are almost always
far more horrific. When will the political operatives realize we are now paying

overwhelming success. When he said that something special was happening in

however. The spin machine is definitely in high gear! From Al Sharpton’s anemic
response a few blocks away to the Lefty pundits calling Beck everything from a
religious nut job to a Nazi, the effort to portray this American re-awakening
as anything but, has been relentless to say the least. It should not surprise
any of you though, as this momentum is a sign to entrenched politicians in
Washington that the day of reckoning is at hand, and they mean to put up a
fight. That fight must come in the form of demonizing any one or any thing that
even remotely resembles patriotism and a return to our core value system in
this Country. Obviously they cannot win in the arena of ideas and/or debate
their views publicly and honestly, because to do so exposes the (socialist one
world order) intentions of these ideologues for all to see. Consequently, that
is just not palatable for the majority of Americans.

This battle is shaping up to be exactly what I thought it
would be. Unlike Beck though, I feel it could have unintended consequences and
I remain concerned. The socialist minority have gained a foothold and are
emboldened of recent. They will not go quietly. Be sharp eyed and eared for the
mischaracterizations and misrepresentations of our efforts that are sure to be
front and center with the main stream media. Stay true to our mission and
integrity but be quick to set the record straight. The battle for the soul of
this Country as I have called it, has clearly begun. Very well done Glenn, not

what the road to November will look like. I suspect this will be an election
for the history books. Much is stake. Frankly, I never would have imagined such
an idealistic battle in my lifetime. The political landscape has changed in
ways that have left us all wondering what this election cycle will really bring
in the end. I for one am apprehensive to say the least.

A part of me has witnessed a grass roots uprising the likes
of which has not occurred since the 18th century, and I’m thrilled by it.
Another part of me though, has seen the enemy within our own Country rear its
ugly head and have support like I never would have imagined. To think that the
socialist element was so close, and being stoked by a generation who would use the
very God given freedom the Constitution invokes to manipulate and eventually
destroy it, has been difficult to acknowledge. Again, it seems more the timing
than anything. We always knew these days would come and that freedom would have
to be defended, but not this soon and not so close to home. Now we see the
battles in our schools and universities. We find ourselves having to defend our
heritage in our own land, while those who claim to want to become American
citizens will stop at nothing to subvert our laws and mock our patriotism. All
this, and a President who is content to let it happen as a means to support his
theory that our Constitution is a “document of negative liberties”.

Well I don’t know about you, but I see this election as the
most pivotal in United States history. I believe that our children’s future
depends on it. How we respond as a people and as a free nation, to the events
of the last two years, will most certainly determine just where our great
Republic will stand on the world stage, and ultimately whether it will survive
at all in this ever more dangerous world.

Go vote. It’s important.

It was a boring shift, though I
did have the opportunity to speak with a local boiler repair man (Steve) for a
good while. Steve is not his real name. I’m using Steve because of the
conversation we had. You’ll understand why as you read on. Steve and I began
talking about the usual stuff, not making enough money, the weather, and how we
both didn’t like jealous people. Eventually Steve started to go on a bit about
boiler repair and I began to disengage. Not wanting to be rude, I stayed in the
game and he began to speak about how lucky we both were to be in America. I
agreed and he continued on about how vastly different it was from his country
of birth. My ears perked up as Steve explained how he had come to the United
States from communist Cambodia in 1980. He was fleeing the final “takeover” of
his homeland by the communist forces. His five brothers, four of whom were
considered educators in the township had all been rounded up and shot. My heart
suddenly sank as I watched the eyes of a man who had been so jovial while
describing to me his many mechanical and HVAC attributes turn dark and empty.

The lengthy conversation that followed was educational and
extremely frightening. I have had the opportunity to speak to many learned
folks on a variety of topics over the years, but this was something very different.
Knowing my history, it was clear that this man had lived through something
horrible beyond imagination, and despite his thick accent, I was about to get a
firsthand account.

Steve was a young man of 22 whose father had been stolen
away to work for the new government and was never heard from again. He watched
from a distance as his baby brother was ripped from his mother’s arms and taken
with 4 other brothers of varying ages to be shot and buried in a ditch by the
road. Steve managed to flee leaving his mother, sister and a remaining brother,
who was disabled. All would eventually be murdered in the name of communism.
Distraught and fearful that he too would meet the same violent end, Steve sewed
a small 24 karat rough gold necklace, his only possession of value in the
world, into the collar of his grimy tee shirt and stowed away in the belly of a
freighter to Thailand. He vowed that if he was to die, it would not be on
Cambodian soil. He would eventually make it to Thailand and meet his future
wife who had also escaped the killing fields. Steve sold his treasured necklace
for food and eventually struggled on to the United States. They were cold and
hungry, but they were alive.

As I sat open mouthed and gripped by what I was hearing,
Steve went on to describe himself in a way that I had only read about. He
called himself a “17 April”. This was a designation and date the communists
affixed to those they’d chased from Phnom Penh, under the pretext that there
would be enemy bombing on April 17, 1975. Subsequently, one of the greatest
genocides in human history would be recorded there. Steve recounted in horrific
detail his experiences as his family struggled to survive famine, disease and
the socialist model of Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge. Babies were smashed against rocks
and trees while whole families were summarily executed and buried as fertilizer
for coconut groves. Millions would eventually die. There would be no more
schools or infrastructure of a conventional sense, but rather a “system” by
which all would be equal. Where have we heard this before?

I interjected my thoughts where I could and we related our
concern for the future of our children, a future reliant on recognizing and
acknowledging evil such as this. But mostly, I just listened and absorbed. There
before me was history in the flesh, spilling out the stories of the past and
sounding the alarm without ever really knowing it.

The conversation eventually grew sparse. Steve explained
that he rarely spoke of the past as it often induced nightmares so vivid and
terrifying that he would awaken and run from the house to confirm he stood on
American soil. He seemed sad as he remembered his family and murmured of how we
must all cherish and protect those we love. He explained how he has sent his
wife and son to live in a liberated but still emerging new Cambodia for two
years. He wants his boy to know of his father’s birthplace and heritage, and he
wants him to truly understand and be grateful for his own birthplace, America.
Ironically, Steve reaffirmed his desire never to return there himself. It is
still too painful for him. I had one more thing to say to Steve, albeit with a
very noticeable lump in my throat, and that was “thank you”. I simply didn’t
want to miss the opportunity to let him know how much the conversation had
meant to me, though I think he was in another place at that moment as he walked
off into the night.

People ask me about my passion for my values and my beliefs,
about the reasons I am so dedicated to the cause and history of this Nation. I
tell them it is not sanctimonious or self riotous, but rather concern that
drives my approach to the discussions. Concern that the next chapter in our
history is unfolding right before our very eyes and we have the power to ensure
it is a legacy our children will be proud of. I’m not suggesting that all must
or will be perfect, but to ignore such poignant and definitive lessons is to be
just plain ignorant. To let pride, vanity, greed or any of mans weaknesses
stand in the way of doing right by our kids future, especially when the
consequences are so painfully obvious and easy to discern, is just plain
foolishness/selfishness. In this authors humble opinion, we should be embracing
the “Steve’s” of this world and begging them to speak of their experiences in
the classroom. Only in this model can we be thought of as having done our due
diligence on behalf of the next generation. It is our duty to all humanity.

Inner thoughts…

No one knows my inner thoughts
when it comes to my political views like my wife. We have regular discussions
about what we see happening to America, and what this great Country will look
like when our little one takes his place on the playing field. Over the last
few years I have confessed to her that I see a “battle” ongoing for the soul of
this Nation, where in the end it will be up to “We the People” to embrace our
history and preserve the greatness of a free republic like no other in all of
recorded time, that it may endure.

With the passage of the “Greatest Generation” (translation:
those who have lived through that which we will never fully understand), a
vacuum has been created, a vacuum in which the socialist ideologues have been
diligently working to fill for some time. Whether it’s through indoctrination
and the application of revisionist history in our children’s schools, or the
corruption and perversion of the main stream media, these folks clearly
understand that this “battle” will not be won by way of some massive takeover
of our culture and way of life, but rather they must chip away at the generations,
eventually erasing any memory of our founding concepts and principles.

So my friends, you all would do well to remember, those
stories and discussions about terrorists and mosques, economies and
unemployment, health care, environments, the border, collectivism, socialism,
marxism, communism, new world order, one world order, or any other of the
myriad of topics you can catch 24/7 on the cable news cycle, are all bits and
pieces of a much bigger field of battle. The battle where the outcome will determine
whether or not our kids will even recognize the legacy we leave them.

My prediction is this: Unless “We the People” are steadfast
in our resolve to nurture and maintain that which has made this the greatest
Country on earth, unless we are prepared to confront those who would manipulate
our children, unless we are ready to question the policies of those we send to
Washington to represent us, and unless we embrace the truth about how and why
this Nation was even founded in the first place, all the smaller battles are
inconsequential, and regrettably all is lost.

Side note: There is a world of evil waiting to fill the
vacuum left by the slow and steady disintegration of the United States. It does
not take a historical scholar to recognize countries like Iran, N. Korea and
China preparing for a day when the U.S. is no longer a dominant world power.
Even worse, they may be setting in motion events to hasten that day, with our
current leadership certainly aiding and abetting their cause. Now for all you
screwballs out there in free America who would say, “Why are we so special”?
“Why can’t other countries have nukes too”? Your ignorance must truly be
blissful to the point of blindness, as your lives in a world without the power
of human freedom as protected by the United States of America, her vast
weaponry, and the blood of her Military, wouldn’t be worth spit! Wake up; the
clock has begun to tick much faster…

Joe Biden is about as much a
stereotypical politician as anyone could be. I mean this guy is pompous,
arrogant, ignorant and a liar, all rolled up in a neat little package with hair
plugs. He’d probably be a few laughs at the local watering hole though. That
said, if I ever bumped into him there, at a “custard shop”, or anywhere else
The POTUS tries to hide “Good ol’ Joe”, I’d have to educate him on a
few issues. Firstly Mr. VP, the (independent ten percent) as I like to call
them, who got your boss elected in the first place, wouldn’t know the “old GOP”
from the “one on steroids” if it really were an elephant and sat on them. And
that’s just the cold hard truth. Things were sour, and they voted for change.

That change came in a package made for a Hollywood movie.
Charismatic, articulate and an African American no less, Oliver Stoned could
not have come up with a better scenario. This guy was right on time, or left,
whatever. My point here is, now that those ten percent folks have got a real
taste of President Obama’s radically cooked marxist agenda, they are running
for their collective barf bags screaming, “don’t look at me”… The shine and
novelty that drew them out of that ugly Bush pit of despair, so artfully
crafted by a complicit and predominantly left wing main stream media have
dulled and left them questioning their original thought process. It’s akin to
waking up after a bender and asking, who the heck is that next to me???
Yikes!!!

Anyway Joe, It certainly wouldn’t hurt if you were just a tad
more truthful about the role of the Dems in Congress, as well as YOUR OWN
“bit part”, as they relate to our current national woes. I’ll take
that beer now… Hmm, better make that desert dry martini, (double).

There has been no shortage of
calamities within the last half decade or so that beg our charitable
intentions, with such high profile events as Katrina and the Haiti earthquake
coming to mind. But it seems at times that we are predominantly drawn to donate
when we see some Hollywood or singing sensation type pontificating about our
collective humanity and how we should dig deep for that guy wearing the “Osama
Bin laden” tee shirt seen on national television off loading a U.S. Military
aid chopper. All right, I will not go off on one of my tangents but let me say
this, lest we forget the good folks down in the Gulf:

After what the Obama Administration and every global warming
anti Capitalist nut job out there has called the greatest ecological disaster
in human history, it seems like we are very quick to accept the Administrations
account of events to date, pack up ship, (even giving Obama a little more
credit for his leadership during the crisis than he deserves), and head home.
Really??? What about the fishing industry? What about all those long
established businesses that have been eviscerated and left hanging on the next
check from a failing oil company? What about the children of those business
owners and their workers who are heading back to school with no notebooks or
pencils and lunches bought on the welfare dime? What about tourism and a region
that is years if not decades away from any meaningful recovery because of the “invisible
oil stain” that will remain? What about all of this??? These are our
countryman! Are they any different from any other folks in need, here or around
the globe? Will we let this moment pass into history only to read about having
missed our chance to help 10 years from now when families and regional
economies are still suffering?

Thankfully, the spirit of America still lives in the hearts
of some. A colleague/friend and member of Haven United Methodist Church in East
Providence Rhode Island  by the name of
Melissa, has taken it upon herself to do the homework (and leg work), putting
together a benefit concert with the central purpose of raising money and
awareness for this tragedy. Melissa has sent me information regarding the event
which I have added below. If any of you all are so inclined, please make any
donation you can. In doing so, you will not only be helping real Americans in
real trouble down in the Gulf States, but you will also be inspiring others to
help as well. This is an opportunity to remind the powers in Washington how
much we are truly paying attention, in a good and decent way. Moreover, it
shows the rest of the world that we are committed to one another in this
Country, in a personal and patriotic way unlike anywhere else in the world.
Please don’t forget them. We have done far more for those far less deserving.

Oh, and the discovery by the Woods Hole Oceanographic
Institute of a giant oil plume hovering around 3000 feet below the surface in
the area of BP’s now cemented well head, reminds us that the premature
assessment by NOAA, (at the request I’m sure), of the Obama WH, is just that,
premature.

Many apologies folks. I have been
doing the birthday thing for my boy and it is all encompassing as I’m sure many
of you can relate. But I am just off the Ferry from Block Island and surfing my
Blackberry reading about Nancy Pelosi calling for a probe into another “right
wing conspiracy” aimed at Muslim Americans over this Mosque thing. When I hear
things like this my immediate reaction is OMG, will someone stick a sweat sock
in this women’s pie hole?? Then I simmer down and think to myself, “keep talking
you Botox Battleax”. “Your time with the gavel grows ever shorter
every time you speak”.

Another 180>>> Then I read about a predominantly
Muslim high school football team in Michigan that has received a host of
accommodations to practice after midnight so as to not affect their worship
during “Ramadan”. Can you imagine if Christian players asked for the same
consideration? The ACLU would have tripped over themselves getting to the court
house to file a lawsuit. Heck, my kid can’t even say the word Christmas in
school anymore. Arghhhhh!!!!!!!

So when you begin your “probe” Nancy, stop by my place so I
can give you a history lesson and a chisel to wipe that phony grin off your
face. Sorry you all, but this crap is really getting old…

Whatever your thoughts are on
this “WikiLeaks” thing as it relates to freedom of the press and such, there is
a broader question. I think it’s fair to say that at this juncture Julian
Assange is loving every minute of the press he is getting, and that  was most likely his real intention from the
get go. That said, I do not want to be accused of trying to silence a
legitimate news story or stymie freedom of the press. To the contrary, conflict
in which the U.S. is engaged must and should be scrutinized. The question is to
what degree, and when does it cross the line? By “cross the line” I mean
endangering the wellbeing of Soldier and freedom fighter alike and acting with
a wanton disregard for the greater good, anything or anyone.

If we step back and look at the big picture here, especially
in light of the impending release of another 15,000 or so documents, we might
all agree that negotiations with the Feds on some level could certainly have
brought about Mr. Assange’s stated objectives, if they were in fact anything
other than a means to secure a future for himself, financial and otherwise.
Realistically, this might never have been a public discussion had Assange
negotiated some sort of arrangement whereby the documents be made public at a
more opportune time when our involvement in Afghanistan was winding down and/or
the Taliban had been defeated.

Instead we have this freaky looking jackass, cultivating an
image he might never have been able to prior to “WikiLeaks”, at the expense of
our Military personnel on the ground in harm’s way, as well as those indigenous
folks brave enough to act in an intelligence capacity in the towns and villages
of Afghanistan.

It seems once again to be a question of exactly how to
exercise a right. And in “winning” that battle, have you lost us the war?

Heck of a
transformation aye??

Well, we knew he would come out
in support of it eventually, didn’t we? It was just a matter of time before The
POTUS weighed in on the “Mega Mosque” near “Ground Zero”. What is troubling
about this, is I did not read where the President questioned the possible
legalities surrounding funding for the project or for that matter, any national
security issues regarding documented comments by Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf stating
America’s “complicity” in the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history. Moreover,
I did not hear the President make any real or discernable effort to address the
downright insensitivity surrounding this proposal!

Mr. President,

Please dispense with this Constitutionality charade as “We
the People” are smart enough to realize you have your own interpretation of
that founding document. Furthermore, we understand and recognize that your
“Muslim agenda” includes dragging a reluctant Nation into “acceptance and
tolerance” of a religion and it’s followers which/who have clearly not
reciprocated in any meaningful way to date. Quite to the contrary, we hear
mostly the chant of “Death to America” along with a host of placid
condemnations/excuses at best. And finally, far too many have died horribly in
this fight against a corrupt and barbaric interpretation of a religious
philosophy for you to offer up such an uneducated, pandering and incentive
“opinion”, on a matter so pivotal and painful for so many of your fellow
citizens. Shame on you Sir!

Remember in 2012!

P.S., Would someone please tell Bloomberg to shut that
Socialist hole in his face!! You folks over in the city should not miss another
opportunity to get rid of this bum…

Well the money has to come from
somewhere and the Dems are running out of Peters to rob. Man that just doesn’t
sound right, but it is accurate. As I’ve stated, a big part of repairing the
entitlement debacle the left (and sappy right) have put this Country in over
the years will be educating takers by showing that the money is not endless,
and reminding the givers that charity is best applied from the heart and on a
personal level. This is true and supported by the fact that every single U.S.
government entitlement program to date, is bloated, in the red and in danger of
failing, and I don’t give a hoot what they tell us, the numbers don’t lie.

So as we listen to all the advocacy groups screaming about
cuts to the food stamp program as a means to fund the Presidents “election
cycle influenced state aid bill”, we can only chuckle a bit as the Dems try
mightily to explain to the folks that they have completely and totally duped
them.

As we move toward November it
appears that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and the Democrats are getting a
bit desperate. That desperation can often get you into hot water as in the case
of Reid today who took a swipe at Latino voters suggesting that it was
unthinkable they might be Republican. Now on its face, that comment is
obviously drawing fire from many Latino’s in and out of the political arena, and
deservedly so. But to me it is just another example of how (out of touch) fools
like “Whore House Harry Reid” take the American People for granted and
basically hold them in the highest contempt.

I will be happy to see “We the People” finally and truly wake
up to this reality and start voting accordingly. Bottom line here is that, in
stereotyping the “unwashed masses” the Libs may finally have exposed themselves
for who they really are. Whether it is the economy, foreign policy, the culture
war, or whether many have just had it with the Washington hijinks, it’s
starting to look like this next Election cycle will not only be a statement
from the long silent majority in this Country, but also a referendum on its
future and pivotal moment in our history.
